Sound and Meaning - Labirintos de Verão 2026

Sound and Meaning is a participatory artistic project presented as part of the Labirintos de Verão 2026 programme, an initiative of the School of Labyrinths developed by OSSO – Associação Cultural. Designed to foster creativity, listening, and critical thinking, the project invites children and young people to explore the relationships between sound, language, imagination, and collective action.

Through the collaborative creation of music, texts, rhythms, and performances, participants are encouraged to contribute themes, words, phrases, and melodies that become the raw material for an open-ended artistic process. Drawing on ideas of freedom, democracy, and participation, Sound and Meaning transforms musical creation into a space for dialogue, expression, and discovery, where sound becomes a powerful medium for reflection, communication, and collective imagination.
